Long View Police Department would like to welcome and introduce Mr. Cameron McClure who is coming to do an Internship with LVPD from Appalachian State University in January, 2023!

Bio:

My name is Cameron McClure and I am from Mint Hill, North Carolina. I currently attend Appalachian State University as a Senior. I am a Cadet in the US Army ROTC while also serving in the North Carolina Army National Guard. Upon my graduation from ASU I will commission as an active-duty Army Second Lieutenant. I spend my time in Boone trout fishing, hunting, and coaching the local middle school wrestling team. I am excited to spend my spring semester in 2023 as an intern with Long View Police Department and look forward to being a part of this great community.
