The Police Chaplain's primary task is to supply Spiritual and relational support for the Officers and Staff of the Department. This is done through relationship building. Regular devotional opportunities of prayer and scripture, personal counseling, and family support are the best tools to assist in building rapport.  The Chaplain is a liaison between the Department and Faith Community and assists in outreach and service in the community. Most of all, the Police Chaplain is a friend to the Officers and an ever-ready source of help and resources of well-being, both Spiritual and emotional.
