STORAGE OF GARBAGE RECEPTACLES

Chapter 50.07 of the Long View Code of Ordinances states the following:

All garbage receptacles shall be stored in the rear yard or side yard of the lot (as defined in the Town of Long View Zoning Ordinance) except for that 48-hour period beginning 24 hours before 6:00am on the garbage pickup day for the lot (as determined by the town) and ending 24 hours after 6:00am of the garbage pickup day for the lot.

Penalty for failure to comply is $175.00 civil citation.

The Town of Long View will be collecting items to take to Burke County to be distributed. If you're able to help, please bring supplies listed below to Town Hall between now and Oct. 7, 2024.
